Staying at Mine Hill House
The Guest Bedroom
Situated on the first floor, the guest bedroom may be arranged as either a double or a twin room. There are beautiful views over the garden and the open countryside beyond from the bedroom windows.
Beyond the en-suite bathroom is an additional small twin room, with a sloping ceiling and a very special access – over a beam and through the cupboard doors! This room is very popular with children as it is like a secret den. Grown-ups might enjoy the adventure too if they do not mind negotiating the access. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms. Please note that there is no shower in the bathroom.
On Arrival
We offer our guests a cup of tea in our cosy sitting room, where a log fire is lit during the cooler months.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, where works of art by Hester’s mother Jo Trotter, a renowned artist and sculptor, are on display. A full English breakfast is cooked on the Aga, or a lighter Continental alternative is available if preferred.
